BMG believes in the importance of incorporating parental involvement in the delivery of behavioral health services for children and adolescents. In an effort to help parents provide the necessary conditions that will cultivate optimal functioning of their children, BMG offers the following support and coaching services to parents: Behavior Modification Plans, School Advocacy, Learning Strategies for Children and Adolescents, Effective Parent-to-Parent Communication, Effective Parent-to-Child Communication, Family Time Management, Post High-School Life Planning.
As a Georgia state-approved trainer by Bright from the Start, BMG has developed and implemented early learning programs and services, specifically as it relates to the behavioral health and learning of pre-school aged children (ages 3-5).
Adapted from the model of a World Café’, Parent Cafés are a series of structured small group conversations designed to bring parents together to discuss issues important to them. The goal is to directly engage parents in building the protective factors needed to prevent maltreatment and promote healthy outcomes for their children.
