Autism Spectrum Disorder is characterized by persistent deficits in social communication and social interaction across multiple contexts; as well as restricted, repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities. Difficulties with ASD can impact an individual’s ability to build relationships, navigate social situations, and adapt to changes in the environment.

Assessment of a child’s cognitive, academic, social/emotional and behavioral functioning and autism symptomology will often be required to determine whether a child has ASD and detect any other important developmental information. Specific recommendations are developed based upon evaluation findings.
