Clinical Assessments
Culturally-responsive community assessments are used to identify and resolve an issue or problem with the goal of improving the quality of life as a whole community.

Overview
Assessments provide useful objective data to help facilitate understanding and treatment of a presenting concern. Whether a physician requests verification of a psychological diagnosis or whether a parent is seeking a comprehensive evaluation to discern the cause of the socio-emotional, behavioral, and/or learning challenge displayed by his/her child, the BMG Clinical Assessment team, which is led by Dr. Kimberly Robinson, is trained to meet such assessment requests. Specific clinical assessments offered by BMG include: ADHD, Autism, and Dyslexia.
.
Our Process
The BMG clinical assessment process typically starts with an initial assessment to obtain pertinent background information. Based upon information obtained during the clinical assessment, the appropriate assessment instruments will be identified that will provide the most comprehensive, evidence-based results and the client will undergo an evaluation process. In many cases, with the client’s written authorization, the clinician will obtain collateral information from a trusted source that can help provide additional insight into the person’s functioning.

Getting Results
An assessment report will be developed and will encompass a diagnosis (if diagnostic criteria is met), a summary of test results and recommendations that can be useful in helping the client learn to more effectively manage presenting concerns.
